About Me

I was born at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital in Midtown Manhattan.  At almost 10 pounds, I practically tore my mother in half.  That was my big-headed entry into this world of ours.  I spent my childhood years in Brooklyn, while spending summers at French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts.

I graduated The American Musical Dramatic Academy in NYC and at 18, I was hired as a Musical Director at the nationally acclaimed Stage Door Manor; coaching Broadway kids.  After performing as an actor/singer nationally and internationally, I settled in Los Angeles.

In Hollywood, I found myself on the Red Carpet as the Host of Disney Premieres.   Interviews included Tom Hanks, Angelina Jolie, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera.  Then came full-length hour-long audio/online interviews with Phil Collins and Bill Maher.

I segued into writing and starred in my own one man show, Home Is Where The House Falls.   I then wrote the screenplay, music and lyrics for the indie movie musical, You Dream Too Much which was optioned by Alliance Filmworks. Although never produced, it was adapted for the stage, as the musical Broads! which made its world premiere in L.A.

I performed in Capetown, South Africa as a singer/pianist on the World Cup Charter Floating Hotel.   I then did a five week stint aboard the World Cup Charter Cruise, sailing from South Africa to Norway.

I have since authored three more completed screenplays, including a whimsical comedy/fantasy, and two suspense thrillers.  One of my dreams was fulfilled when I was able to record my first album Reunion which is available on iTunes, a labor of love with childhood friend, Staci Gruber.

I have returned to my native New York City, where I am currently performing and writing, as well as vocal coaching adults and children.
